About Blue Whale Materials:
Blue Whale Materials provides lithium-ion recycling solutions to safely reclaim and responsibly supply valuable critical materials like cobalt, nickel, and lithium for the growing electrified economy.
The company’s partnerships, high-value black sand product, and proprietary tech adds value to their customers by using a “closed loop” li-ion battery ecosystem, in which Blue Whale Materials turns the li-ion batteries and manufacturing scrap into black sand. The black sand is then sold battery manufacturers to make battery components and batteries for customers. Once the batteries and components reach the end of their lifecycle they are collected at the local collection centers, where the cycle begins again.
